I’ve often been asked why I created Evermore Video Portraits. The answers I’ve settled on are ‘regret’ and ‘the wish to not make the same mistakes again’.
I lost my father when I was twenty and almost immediately regretted that I’d not spent the time learning more about his childhood, living through WW2, his life and adventures before he met mum. I remember him being naturally gregarious and funny – but I have only fleeting memories. I then made the same mistake with my mother!
Now, I have three children of my own and I’ve learned my lessons. I use my extensive experience working in the creative industries to produce professional standard cinematic records of my family and now other families.
I’d like to do the same for you and yours.
